We appreciate your interest in Worship.  We think you will find our form and style of worship to be simple and straightforward.

The primary purpose of worship is to give glory to God as we proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ.  In our worship you will find traditional elements of worship blended with more contemporary features.

We want our focus in our worship on the One who alone is worthy of our worship.  We seek to please the Lord with our worship, bringing our humble gifts of praise and talents as well as the gifts which others bring, so that He might be honored not only by our outward expressions but also by the attitudes of our hearts (which are much more important to Him anyway!).  May our worship reflect the unity within diversity which is the beauty of Christ's body, blending "psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs" (Ephesians 5:19).

The Lord's Supper

We celebrate the sacrament of the Lord's Supper on certain Sundays.  Collinsville Nazarene welcomes all believer's in Jesus Christ to join in communion no matter what their church affiliation might be.  However, The Lord's Supper is not appropriate for those who have not yet accepted the new life God offers.
