Well Valentines Day has come and gone and the month of Love has almost done the same. During this month we have showed our loved ones how much we have loved them and how much they mean to us! It is a special month and I have enjoyed every day of it. Next up EASTER! The holiday where we can reflect on the price that God paid for us by sending His son to die on the cross for our sins. I pray that we would draw near and be wholeheartedly thankful for our Savior! Nails in your hands, Nails in your feet tell me how much you love me! Thorn in your brow they tell me how you bore so much shame to love me and the heavens pass away all your scares will still remain and forever they will say how much you love me! -MERCYME Have a blessed day! Wonderful Wednesday Night! We had a wonderful Wednesday night. Danny you are amazing and I appreciate all that you do! You add so much to our worship. We talked about God's love and how amazing it is. We should love Him back even more! He has done so many things for us! Remember in Deuteronomy 6:5-6: And you must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands I am giving you today. So go tell the world how much you love our God that is faithful and merciful!  Well the time is almost here to fast for 30 hours. Man it seems like a long time to go without eating but in reality its really not. We are blessed to have food at any time we want. We take it for granted that we will have breakfast when we roll out of bed and lunch at noon and then dinner when we get home from work. There are some that are less fortunate that will go days without food and some will die because of hunger. I have caught myself saying that I am dying of starvation when really I had eaten a meal earlier that day. I pray that during these 30 hours we will realize that this life isn't just about us and that we will come out of this event wanting to help God's people with hunger and bringing the lost to salvation! So when your stomach goes through withdrawals from pizza rolls and snickers and you feel the pain of hunger just think that people live with this every day!

Good morning I hope you are enjoying another snow day! Just wanted to remind you of some things. 1. Valentines Day Banquet- 6-9 on the 14th of February. Servers please wear black pants and white shirt. Babysitters please wear something comfortable. 2. Winter Slam- $10 Leaving the church at 4 p.m. and will not be back to the church until 11:30 p.m. February 27, 2009. 3. Work day this Saturday at 8 a.m. We need all teens to come if possible. Thanks! 4. We have suckers that need to be sold. Please come by my office and get some so you can sell and make our youth group money! 5. You got me and Jesus! Well I am back from my cruise! Burrrr! I have to get used to this cold weather again! I had a great time being with my family and relaxing in the beautiful sun of the carribeans. Even though I had a great time it was great to get back home and see my wonderful youth group! I did miss them a lot. Here at the Nazarene church I do have to say that we have a special youth group! A lot of them came with Pastor to pick us up from the airport. I thank the Lord for them everyday! We do serve an amazing God! After spending time on the ship watching the sun sets and the one sun rise (LOL) He reminded me again how big He really is! That He made all of this that we live and breathe and that He is the creator! It's amazing how things change in a second. The colors of the deep blue sea and the colors of the sky that changes from blue to orange to black! Wow it is just breath taking! God is AMAZING! I LOVE HIM DEEPLY!
